Although many average Joes and Janes find big success as stars of reality TV, rarely is their career move drama-free. A common problem? Money woes. Jon Gosselin is one of many stars who went from starring in primetime to being penniless. Once part of TLC's must-see series "Jon & Kate Plus 8," about raising sextuplets and twins with his wife, the now-divorced dad has a series of odd jobs (like being a DJ!) to pay the bills. However, he recently announced he's too broke to pay both his rent and his child support payments to his ex, who's the primary caregiver of their brood. "I am a single father who's trying to make ends meet during a recession," the 35-year-old told Star magazine. "What do I do -- pay child support or rent? I need to support my kids, but I could lose my house, and I need my home to continue to have custody. ... I'm doing the best I can, but life is expensive with eight kids!" No doubt, but immediately after crying poverty, Kate's rep cried foul, noting, "Kate voluntarily relieved Jon of all current and future child support obligations for their eight children" -- back in April! Oh, their drama never ends ... it's too bad for them they are no longer getting paid for it. Here are some other reality stars in the same boat.
