2012 Emmy Predictions
Speaking of politics (and HBO),
"Game Change" -- the Julianne Moore-fronted film based on the 2008 United States presidential election campaign -- is atop the polls in the
Outstanding Miniseries or Made for TV Movie category heading into Sunday's Emmy Awards. "American Horror Story" could play a factor, but Ryan Murphy's miniseries is probably a tad to racy for older Academy voters. With "Hemingway and Gellhorn," "Luther," and "Sherlock" on the outside looking in, only Kevin Costner's ratings bonanza, "Hatfields and McCoys," has a true shot at knocking off the scandalous Sarah Palin special.
