'SYTYCD': tWitch Talks Mentoring, Bows Down to His Wife

Just when you thought tWitch couldn’t get any cuter (seriously, did you see him do the Charlie Brown dance?!), now he’s talking to us about how his wife, Allison Holker, would totally kick his you-know-what if they went head-to-head in some sort of So You Think You Can Dance competition.

“I’m man enough to say I’m not going to compete against my wife because she’s better than me, I’m not going to lie,” SYTYCD Season 12’s official Team Street mentor told Yahoo TV. “She’s kind of a beast on the dance floor. … Babe, you’re better than me. It’s fine. It’s good. I’m a fan.”

Holker gives tWitch plenty of opportunities to cheer. In addition to being a recurring All-Star on the show where they met, Holker appears on VH1’s Hit the Floor and recently landed in the finals with Riker Lynch on her second season as a pro on Dancing With the Stars. Of course, we all know tWitch is no slouch either. After all, he’ll have us all cheering when he takes it off in Magic Mike XXL later this summer, and he’s pretty pumped about his new role as a mentor on the hit dance competition show.

“Through my history of So You Think You Can Dance, I’ve actually gone through pretty much every position that there is in front of the camera. I’ve been a contestant to an All-Star to a judge to a choreographer to a Vegas teacher. But mentor is the one that I’m most excited about,” he said. “I have a lot of pep talks on deck. I’m gonna be a motivational speaker if they’re ready to hear it.”

So You Think You Can Dance airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
