Watch Ian Ziering Take Our ‘Sharknado’ Celebrity Cameo Quiz Before ‘The 4th Awakens’

This Sunday, it’s back: Syfy’s popular Sharknado franchise returns for its fourth Installment, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. Although in the story Ian Ziering’s Fin Shepard has had five years sans the last inexplicable weather phenomenon struck, the actor himself remembers it just like it happened yesterday. Ziering, 52, proved it, in fact, when we quizzed him on some of the best celebrity cameos-turned-fatalities in the previous sequels. Watch him ace the exam above.

Below, the actor fills us in on the hardest kind of scene to perform in the Sharknado franchise; the worst injury he sustained during The 4th Awakens’ 15-day shoot (it actually happened while he was leaving a set not during a stunt); which dance move he’d have used to repel a shark if he’d been one of the Chippendales dancers in the flick (you may recall he guested with the Vegas troupe during the summers of 2013 and 2014); and his hopes for the future of the film series.

Should Fin survive — and, as Ziering says, we always bet on Fin — he’s hoping to see a Sharknado abroad. His dream celebrity cameo? Bruce Willis. “I was a huge fan of the Die Hard series,” he says. “I think Fin Shepard and John McClane would really get on pretty well. They’re both ordinary men who’ve gone to extraordinary lengths to keep their families safe.”

Sharknado: The 4th Awakens premieres July 31 at 8 p.m. on Syfy.
