Shades of Blue: Lolita Davidovich Out, Margaret Colin In Ahead of Season 2

Ray Liotta’s Shades of Blue wife will be sporting a new look when the NBC cop drama returns next year.

Lolita Davidovich — who played Linda, the spouse of Liotta’s Lieutenant Matt Wozniak, in seven Season 1 episodes — has exited the series ahead of Season 2, TVLine has learned exclusively. Gossip Girl vet Margaret Colin has been tapped to assume the recurring role.

According to an NBC rep, Davidovich departed the series due to scheduling conflicts.

This marks the second major piece of Shades of Blue Season 2 casting, following Wednesday’s announcement that Breaking Bad alum Anna Gunn was coming on board as a dirty cop-turned-Machiavellian politician.

Production on Shades of Blue‘s second season began earlier this week in New York. It’s slated to return to NBC’s schedule at midseason.
