'Scandal' Season 5 Poster Gives Fans Olivia and Fitz — 'At Last'!
Scandal fans, you asked for it; in Season 5, you’re getting it.

This Season 5 poster, debuting exclusively on Yahoo TV, is every Olitz lover’s dream come true. Olivia (Kerry Washington) looks smug — totally #DGAF — and happy as Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) nuzzles her neck. Swoon!

At the end of the last season, Fitz threw out wife Mellie (Bellamy Young) after discovering she leaked the names of the B-613 jurors to the evil Rowan Pope (Joe Morton). He felt devastated and betrayed, but found the ultimate gift waiting for him on the Truman balcony — his true love, Olivia. She finally threw caution to the wind, said goodbye to Jake (Scott Foley), and reunited with the president.
Now, they’re together, although it won’t be easy sailing for these two, of course. As Goldwyn told Yahoo TV, “They’re magic together, but not so much when they step outside the bubble of their affair. The pressures are very, very rough.”
Here’s the official synopsis of the Season 5 premiere:
“Olivia and Fitz are back together again and enjoying every scandalous moment together while Cyrus, Mellie, and Huck are all still dealing with the aftermath of helping Command. Meanwhile, when a visit from the Queen of Caldonia and her family turns into a tragedy, Olivia is hired to make sure the Royal family’s private life stays private.”
Scandal returns Thursday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
