'Scandal' 100th Episode Envisions a Completely Different World for Everyone

Shonda Rhimes envisioned an alternate universe on the 100th episode of Scandal Thursday night. The show started with Olivia dreaming about the moment she agreed to rig the election for Fitz. Although, this time she said no and the rest of the episode showed a world where Fitzgerald Grant wasn’t President of the United States.

A couple months after the election, Fitz showed up at Olivia’s door, informed her that he divorced Mellie, and then proposed to Olivia. Liv accepted Fitz’s proposal and six months later, they had the wedding of everyone’s dreams. Huck and his awesome hair even walked Liv down the aisle!

A year after they said “I do,” things in the alternate timeline started to heat up. Fitz had his own political talk show, Mellie and Cyrus were together, and so were Abby and David Rosen. While Quinn, a.k.a. Lindsey D., was on a Bachelor-style dating show. But not everything was fine and dandy in the Sliding Doors version of Scandal as Liv and Fitz started to grow apart.

After some rocky times, like reality star Quinn coming on to Fitz, he realized that Olivia was the only one for him. Olivia then came out of her dream state and realized that she needed to support Fitz’s decision to not rig another election, and the show ended with her telling him, “I’m in.”

Scandal airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC. Watch clips and full episodes of Scandal for free on Yahoo View.
