'Saturday Night Live' #TBT: Jennifer Lawrence Can Win the Fun-ger Games, Too

So not only are Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer BFFs (and please, how do we get in on that?), but they’re reportedly writing a movie together.

It may seem like an odd pairing, until you dig through our Saturday Night Live archives and remember this: J. Law can be mad funny!

When she hosted SNL in January 2013, Lawrence proved she really can do it all. Her quirky, casual real-life persona translates perfectly to sketch comedy, as you can see in this radio show skit.

Lawrence plays an aspiring rapper named Busty Rhymes who, well, can’t really rhyme.

“If you stuffed up in the club cuz you got the flu,” she raps, “you know when you sneeze, you gonna say… uh-oh, whaaaa haaaay!” (Think she was looking for “achoo.”)

Radio DJs Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan are incredulous. “Girl, you can’t rhyme nothing!” Moynihan says.

Maybe Lawrence will return to Studio 8H this fall, when the final installment of The Hunger Games hits theaters. Before that, though, her new bestie Schumer hosts the second episode of Season 41 on Oct. 10.
