‘Saturday Night Live’ #TBT: Emma Stone Breaks All Her Body Parts

“Break a leg” is something people say to actors as a good luck charm — just don’t say it to Emma Stone!

The La La Land actress is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend for the third time. She’s been part of some memorable sketches (kissing Spider-man, for one), but this digital short from 2010 might be her funniest bit.

Stone plays a high school teen who marches into school wielding her broken arm, which she got after slipping in sticky grape jelly. And breaking your arm is soooooo cool. “Every single year there’s a girl who breaks her arm. And this year, I’m that girl,” Stone raps.

With her posse following behind, Stone sashays through the school cafeteria. “Now sign my cast, sign my cast, sign my cast!” she orders, waving it around.

Then, she slips in the grape jelly again. And breaks her other arm. And slips again… and again…. Curse that sticky grape jelly!
