Samuel L. Jackson, Like You Possibly, Doesn’t Care About the Brangelina Breakup

The only thing that might be covered more than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship is the end of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship. But while media and fans have been focusing on this week’s top celebrity story, there’s one man who clearly doesn’t care, and his name is Samuel L. Jackson.

Jackson was a guest on Good Morning Britain. When his interviewer said, “Brad and Angelina, obviously, it’s just sad, isn’t it?” Jackson merely replied, “Is it?” “I think so,” continued the Good Morning Britain correspondent. “I think any divorce in Hollywood is.” “Really?” asked a bemused Jackson. “It’s life, you know. People carry on. People do what they do.”

After he displayed he’s not all that broken up about it, Jackson talked about the different sides some take on this matter. “There’s a huge segment of America that still think [about] what he did to Jennifer Aniston and they’re just overjoyed that, you know, the wicked witch lost her husband,” Jackson said. “And I’m sure there’s another segment that thinks that it is sad there’s a dissolution of another family and all those kids or whatever.”

But lest you think Jackson does care just because he could talk about it for 30 seconds, he then added, “I don’t know why it’s everybody’s business. Or why people care anyway.”
