Samuel L. Jackson Channels Lena Dunham to Reenact ‘Girls’ Scene with Allison Williams

On Watch What Happens: Live with Andy Cohen, Samuel L. Jackson finally got the chance to play a role he’s never played before: a girl. In the WWHL Clubhouse Playhouse, the Kong: Skull Island star re-enacted a scene from the hit HBO show Girls, playing Lena Dunham’s character, Hannah. Opposite Jackson was Girls star Allison Williams, playing her character from the show, Marnie. Jackson and Williams acted out a scene from Season 1 of the show, in which Hannah and Marnie had a bit of a spat. Jackson brought his A game.

Wearing a Lena Dunham-esque wig over his hat, Jackson, who has over 100 movies under his belt, really channeled Hannah as he argued with Marnie over who’s crazy, and for how long. And where else can you see Samuel L. Jackson yelling about not talking to friends from preschool; his friend being “bats*** crazy” ever since her boyfriend broke up with her; and his “most shameful, painful, most private secret”? Again, all while wearing a wig over a hat.
