Samuel L. Jackson and Stephen Colbert Ponder Life’s Biggest Questions

Samuel L. Jackson stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote his new movie, The Legend of Tarzan. While there, he and Stephen sprawled out on a blanket in the grass and pondered some of life’s biggest questions in the Late Show’s Big Questions With Even Bigger Stars segment.

Jackson asked, “Do you think there’s a difference between living and just being alive?” The host responded with, “Of course, I mean, who would want to buy a magazine called Martha Stewart Just Being Alive?”

Stephen asked Sam, “What’s in your wallet?” The Late Show host was obviously referring to Jackson’s Capital One commercials, and after a long laugh break, Samuel responded with, “A whole lot of money!”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
