‘Salem’ Series Finale Sneak Peek: Mary and John Reunite

All hell is about to break loose in the series finale of Salem — but can heroes Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) and John Alden (Shane West) save their town and the world from pure evil?

Last week, Anne (Tamzin Merchant) opened the door to Hell and let in the Devil child, to Mary’s horror. Mother is the only one who can defeat the son, but she’s been weakened all season by Countess Marburg (Lucy Lawless) drinking her blood.

But perhaps there is hope, in the form of John, her lover. The two were ripped apart when Mary died, but they share a tender reunion in this exclusive sneak peek clip.

“Is it really you this time?” a tired Mary asks. “You came back.”

“I couldn’t stay away,” John replies, but wonders what has happened to her.

“They’ve done something to me,” Mary warns. And whatever the Countess has planned, it can’t be good. Can John save Mary, and together, can they save Salem?

The Salem series finale airs Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 9 p.m. on WGN America.
