'X Factor's' Fifth Harmony to Perform on Radio Disney's 'N.B.T.' Relaunch

Radio Disney's "N.B.T." (Next Big Thing) is re-launching as a year-round showcase to introduce young, newly-signed artists, Disney announced Monday.

Season 2 "X Factor" finalist Fifth Harmony will be the first act spotlighted when "N.B.T." makes its television debut during the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Teen Beach Movie" on Friday. Viewers and listeners will get an exclusive look as the group goes into the recording studio, embarks on a nationwide summer mall tour and films their music video for the single "Me & My Girls."

"This exciting evolution of 'N.B.T.' elevates our commitment to being the first to introduce our audience to tomorrow's next big music stars," said Phil Guerini, vice president of programming at Radio Disney.

The newly revamped program will chronicle each featured artist's ascent from discovery to hopefully becoming music's next superstar.

The program will take place across multiple platforms including Disney Channel, Radio Disney, RadioDisney.com, Disney.com and social media sites, as well as at live Radio Disney events in local markets with new featured artists to be introduced on an on-going basis throughout the year.
