‘The View’s’ Raven-Symoné to Guest Star on Disney’s ‘K.C. Undercover’ Sept. 7
Raven-Symoné is returning to her Disney Channel roots with a guest-star shot on the Sept. 7 episode of “K.C. Undercover,” the sitcom anchored by Zendaya.
The new “View” co-host starred on her own Disney show, “That’s So Raven,” which ran four seasons, wrapping in 2007.
Eight years later, Raven-Symoné will be back on the kids’ cabler for a special one-hour episode of the spy comedy, which finds high school undercover spy K.C. Cooper (Zendaya) enlisting the help of a former spy and computer engineering expert Simone Deveraux (Raven-Symoné) when her family’s sophisticated robot, Judy, runs away and is captured by enemy agents.
Earlier this year, Raven-Symoné posted a photo from the “K.C.” set, announcing that she would guest star, and also giving a glimpse of her and Zendaya’s episodic look, boasting unrecognizable disguises. (However, the two-part episode she mentioned has now been set as the hourlong special.)
“K.C. Undercover” also stars Kadeem Hardison, Tammy Townsend, Kamil McFadden, Trinitee Stokes and Veronica Dunne. Zendaya is a co-producer on the series, which was created by Corinne Marshall and is exec produced by Rob Lotterstein.
