Dick is back!
Ryan Hansen, who played Dick Casablancas on "Veronica Mars," has signed on for the upcoming fan-funded movie.
The "Burning Love" actor announced his return in a video message to fans, complete with a choreographed dance and backflip (he's got some moves - we're impressed!).
"Thank you guys for supporting the Kickstarter [campaign] and the show - it's crazy!" Ryan says in the video. "Dick Casablancas started out as an extra, basically. I said one word... and now here we are doing a movie.
"It's crazy -- I can't express how excited I am to be a part of this and I'm so thankful," the actor continues, before being joined by a handful dancers and starting the routine.
Series star Kristen Bell joins Ryan about halfway through the video and busts a few moves of her own!
In related "VM" news, former "Don't Trust The B---- in Apt. 23" star Krysten Ritter will also reprise her role as Gia Goodman in the upcoming film.
The actress announced her return on Friday, Tweeting, "G-G-G-Gia!!!! I'm thrilled to be reprising my role of Gia Goodman in the Veronica Mars movie!!! It's gonna be very juicy.
"'Veronica Mars' has a special place in my heart because it was my first big acting job (!!!!!!) and it was also one of the most lovely on-set experiences you could ever ask for," she continued. "This will truly be an awesome shoot, not only because we all get to be reunited (can't WAIT!) but because of the revolutionary way this all was able to come to life! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Rob Thomas, Kristen Bell, Kickstarter, and most of all, to you, our AMAZING FANS, for making it happen. I'm honored to be a part of it!"
Production on the "Veronica Mars" movie will begin on Monday.
