Despite growing closer to Damon this season, Elena decides to go to the event with Stefan at Caroline’s urging. Meanwhile, the blonde vamp has two dates — both Tyler and Klaus show up at the dance! — and Bonnie asks Jamie to accompany her.
Of course, this being Mystic Falls, “the dance takes a deadly turn when Damon and Stefan realize they need the help of Matt, Jeremy and especially Bonnie to undo a spell that could prove devastating for everyone,” reads the official episode description. Is that why Elena’s in tears in her ex’s arms?
