Fresh off his third Emmy win, Jim Parsons is adding another trophy to his mantle.

GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) is honoring the Big Bang Theory actor and his longtime boyfriend Todd Spiewak with its Inspiration Award at the 2013 Respect Awards, held Oct. 18 in Beverly Hills.

The ceremony — which shines a spotlight on organizations and individuals who have made a significant difference in the areas of diversity, inclusion and the safe schools movement — also will recognize Designing Women creator Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and Mad Men/Orange is the New Black producer Lionsgate.

Everybody Loves Raymond vet Brad Garrett will star in, co-pen and direct a pilot for ABC, Deadline reports. Inspired by the actor’s forthcoming autobiography When The Balls Drop, the project examines the life of a divorced, middle-aged man juggling his home life and work.

Laura Wiggins (Shameless) has joined CBS’ midseason drama Intelligence as the daughter of Marg Helgenberger’s leading lady, per TV Guide Magazine.

Arrested Development dad Jeffrey Tambor is making his way to Raising Hope, TVGuide.com reports. He’ll play Virginia’s estranged father in the Fox comedy’s Season 4 premiere.
