Skyfall and Quantam of Solace actor Rory Kinnear is reported to be the frontrunner to succeed Matt Smith as the titular star of Doctor Who, at least according to The Telegraph.

“We are waiting to hear if he will accept,” a source tells the London-based paper. “He is the perfect choice.”

UPDATE: The BBC on Monday morning seemingly cast aspersion on this rumor, saying via Twitter that the search for Twelve “has only just begun.”

Worried that Game of Thrones, which is heading into Season 4, will run out of material in light of the fact that books 6 and 7 have yet to be published?
