TVLine Items: Big C's Final Season Title Change and Casting Scoop, Portlandia Promo and More!

The Big C‘s fourth and final season has yet to secure a premiere date, but it has obtained a brand-new name.

Titled The Big C: hereafter, the four-episode event will conclude the story of Laura Linney’s cancer-battling Cathy and those who have stood by her side over the past three seasons. It will also introduce two new characters in guest stars Kathy Najimy and Isaac Mizrahi, Showtime announced Thursday.

Najimy joins the series’ farewell run as Cathy’s no-nonsense therapist, who will help her come to grips with the challenges ahead. Mizrahi, meanwhile, will appear as himself in a handful of episodes, mentoring Gabourey Sidibe’s design school-bound Andrea.

Royal Pains‘ Brooke D’Orsay has landed a potentially recurring role on Two and a Half Men. Per EW.com, she’ll play a new love interest for Ashton Kutcher’s Walden.

• Revenge‘s ill-fated White-Haired Man has found new life on A&E. Per Deadline, James Morrison has joined Those Who Kill, the drama pilot that centers on a detective (Chloe Sevigny) and forensic profiler (James D’Arcy) who both possess a deep understanding of the serial killers they hunt. He’ll play the Big Love alumna’s boss.

• Meagen Fay (Malcolm in the Middle) has been tapped to play Bernadette’s mom in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, TVGuide.com reports.

• Gossip Girl‘s Monday, Nov. 12 installment will feature music exclusively from R&B star Frank Ocean.

• Adam Lambert will host this year’s VH1 Divas special, airing Dec. 16. Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks will take the stage at the event.

Jim Rome on Showtime, the cabler’s new sports-centric series, is set to launch Nov. 2.
