The Gang Gives Puppet Therapy a Try on 'Community' [Exclusive Video]

The cast and crew of "Community" gave fans a wacky and surprisingly naughty sneak peek at their buzz-worthy Muppet-esque puppet episode during PaleyFest 2013 (it's Yvette Nicole Brown's all-time fave), and the time to see the Greendale gang in puppet form has finally arrived! Even better: They'll be singing.

In this exclusive sneak peek at "Intro to Felt Surrogacy," there's conflict among the community college crew, and everyone's in silent treatment mode. The only way to defuse the tension, according to Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) -- who's determined to get to the bottom of it -- is puppet therapy, of course. That way, whatever is too embarrassing to say out loud won't have to be said (kind of), because the puppets will do the communicating. Hey, they did it on "Law & Order," aspiring therapist Britta (Gillian Jacobs) reminds the group.

Pelton just happens to have a bin full of puppets made in the likeness of each member of the study group, but don't worry -- he promises there's no funny business when Jeff (Joel McHale) asks, "Why did you make, have, and bring these? Don't answer." (Just disregard the whip the Jeff puppet is holding.)

Need even more reasons to tune in? Musician Sara Bareilles and "Seinfeld's" Jason Alexander will be guest-starring. "Intro to Felt Surrogacy" airs Thursday, 4/11 at 8 PM on NBC.
