Susan Flannery is following her Bold and the Beautiful co-star Ronn Moss out the door.

Flannery, who like Moss was an original star of The Bold and the Beautiful, announced that she will quit the soap opera after 25 years, CBS Soaps in Depth reports.

The actress, who plays Stephanie Forrester on the long-running series, has signed a short-term contract so that the show's writers can provide her with a conclusive story line, according to the report.

Flannery's decision to exit comes about a week after Moss'. The pair made up 50 percent of the "core four" actors who had been with the soap since it premiered in 1987, along with John McCook and Katherine Kelly Lang. Lang has specifically said she plans to stay with the show, though McCook has not commented on whether he'll be returning, according to TVLine.

Flannery also played Laura Horton on Days of Our Lives.
