If only the power went out after the game.
After his team beat the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, Baltimore Ravens quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco was caught dropping a celebratory F-bomb during the post-game festivities.
Flacco and teammate Marshal Yanda appeared to be in disbelief after the win, with Yanda audibly saying to Flacco: "Holy s---, huh?"
Flacco's response, caught by CBS microphones? "F------ awesome!"
Neither appeared to be aware that they were on live TV at the time.
CBS has not yet commented, but the Parents Television Council is already calling on the Federal Communications Commission to take action against CBS for airing the obscenity.
"Despite empty assurance after empty assurance from the broadcast networks that they would never air indecent material, especially during the Super Bowl, it has happened again," PTC President Tim Winter said in a statement. "No one should be surprised that a jubilant quarterback might use profane language while celebrating a career-defining win, but that is precisely the reason why CBS should have taken precautions. ... The broadcast networks continue to have 'malfunctions' during the most-watched television event of the year, and enough is enough."
Hey, at least it wasn't a wardrobe malfunction.
Watch the exchange below. (Warning: Contains profane language, obviously.)
