Stephen Colbert will soon have a veneer of waxiness to go with his aura of truthiness.

The "Colbert Report" host is getting the wax-figure treatment from Madame Tussauds D.C., with the figure being unveiled at the museum on Nov. 16. (Exclusive) The figure will reside in Madame Tussauds D.C.'s Media Room, which is being renovated into a replica of "The Colbert Report" set.  Guests will have the opportunity to sit beside the figure behind Colbert's desk, where they can play co-host and, if they're feeling sassy, reenact their favorite edition of "Tip of the hat/Wag of the finger." Colbert, a native of Washington, D.C., sat for more than 250 measurements and photographs to enable the creation of the figure, and even donated his own clothes to outfit his waxy doppelganger -- which doesn't seem to be in the spirit of Colbert's usual hyper-capitalistic stance, but does fit in with his robust philosophy of self-promotion.
