'SNL' Takes Pot Shots at Politicians on Gun Control (Video)

"Saturday Night Live" got in on the gun control debate Saturday night, taking some pot shots at politicians who have dragged their feet on the matter.

In the cold open, President Obama (Jay Pharaoh) appeared with Senator Joe Manchin (Jason Sudeikis) and Senator Patrick Toomey (Bill Hader). He noted how "amazing" it was that these parties have "agreed to think about talking about gun control," and then turned it over to the faux Toomey. He proudly declared, "If our bill passes, no individual can purchase a handgun from a private dealer without being asked, 'Are you a good person?'"
