‘SNL’ Promos: Can ‘Scandal’s’ Kerry Washington Resist Taran Killam’s Advances? (Video)
“Scandal” star Kerry Washington has no problem resisting the advances of “Saturday Night Live” castmember Taran Killam in new promos for the NBC sketch show.
Washington will be taking the stage to display her comedic chops on this weekend’s “SNL” with musical guest, rapper Eminem.

In the first promos for the star’s appearance, Washington tries to get through her lines while resisting Killam’s flirtations. Clearly, he’s lovable but he’s no Tony Goldwyn.
“SNL” started its current season with strong ratings generated by the one-two punch of its first two hosts, alum Tina Fey and singer Miley Cyrus and the MTV VMAs twerk-gate. Through the first two weeks of the season, “Saturday Night Live” is up versus the first two originals of last season by 4 percent in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 ratings and 2 percent in total viewers.
In its third week, the sketch show saw a slight dip with host Bruce Willis and Week 4 host Edward Norton results will be in later this week.
