Shocker: J.J. Abrams' New 'Stranger' Teaser Is Maddeningly Cryptic (Video)

Here we go again with J.J. Abrams' love of being cryptic: Bad Robot Productions released some sort of a teaser for a presumptive upcoming project Monday, a dark trailier titled "Stranger."

The production house that had us believe "Super 8" would be some kind of huge reveal, fought fiercely to make us think Khan was not in the latest "Star Trek" and favors misdirection over clarity in general gives no description for this YouTube video -- and comments are disabled.

Still, if you have any idea what this is, we'd love to know. A movie? A TV show? A web series? A thing we've already spent too much time thinking about?

In the clip itself, a narrator speaks over a sad piano, "He arrived knowing nothing of himself. Who is he? Soon he will know." The one minute, seven seconds of possible project ends by promising that we will know more "soon."

We're holding our breath.
