Seth Rogen is the Roast Master for James Franco Roast

James Franco’s roast will be led by his “Pineapple Express” co-star Seth Rogen, who has been tapped as Roast Master for the Comedy Central event.

Rogen and Franco go back over a decade to TV series “Freaks and Geeks,” where the pair first teamed up. Since then, they’ve toplined “Pineapple Express” along with “This Is The End” and forthcoming pic “The Interview.”

“The Comedy Central Roast of James Franco” will be lensed in L.A. on August 18, and air Labor Day weekend.
