See the poster art for Netflix's original series 'Hemlock Grove'

The trend in horror TV series is jumping from the small screen to the Web with the upcoming Netflix original series "Hemlock Grove," which is based on Brian McGreevy's novel of the same name. To make this event even more intriguing, the king of "gorror" (gore plus horror) Eli Roth -- "Hostel" and "Cabin Fever" -- is serving as executive producer of the first three episodes.

In this peek at the official "Hemlock Grove" poster, it's clear that this drama -- which revolves around the residents for a former Pennsylvania steel town -- is going to have a creature-feature feel with an artistic twist. The snout of what appears to be a werewolf has a human hand reaching out from between its jaws. Is the person attached to this arm being swallowed or emerging from the beast? That's one of the many mysteries buried in Hemlock. As the tagline states and poster illustrates, "The Monster Is Within."

"Hemlock Grove" stars Famke Janssen ("X-Men"), Dougray Scott ("Desperate Housewives"), Bill Skarsgård ("Simple Simon"), Landon Liboiron ("Terra Nova"), Penelope Mitchell, and Freya Tingley.

All 13 Season 1 episodes will be available on Netflix beginning Friday, 4/19.
