Yesterday, News Corp COO Chase Carey released a statement regarding Monday night’s BBC Panorama exposé that claimed a company News Corp has controlled illegally helped to undermine Rupert Murdoch’s business rivals. Carey said the show “presented manipulated and mischaracterized emails to produce unfair and baseless accusations.” Today, Murdoch himself has spoken up via Twitter.
