Ratings: Tuesday's Voice Hits Low, NBA Finals Down; Monday's Major Crimes Returns Steady

NBC’s The Voice hit a franchise low on Tuesday night, scoring a 2.7 demo rating while drawing 10.34 million total viewers — down 13 and 5 percent week-to-week. (Read Michael Slezak’s recap.)

Leading out of that, America’s Got Talent built to 11.5 mil/3.0, yet was down a tenth in the demo from its premiere.

Over on Fox, So You Think You Can Dance (4.25 mil/1.6) ticked down a tenth.

Elsewhere, CBS’ Brooklyn DA (3.7 mil/0.6) slipped another tenth and ABC’s coverage of the NBA Finals (based on rough, prelim numbers) looks down 12 percent from last year’s Game 3 match-up.

Rewinding to Monday’s cable premieres, TNT’s Major Crimes returned to just over 5 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating, down from last summer’s series launch (which led out of The Closer‘s closer with 7.2 mil/1.2) but on par with its freshman average. King & Maxwell — debuting to 3.5 mil, with 825K landing in the 18-49 sweet spot — showed retention of barely 70 percent.
