RATINGS RAT RACE: ‘Duets’ Down Again, Premieres For ‘Saving Hope,’ ‘Take Me Out’ & ‘The Choice’

Thursday was a night of double premieres on Fox. The George Lopez-hosted dating show Take Me Out (1.3/5) started the evening at 8 PM. Rising significantly from its lead-in, the celebrity bachelor dating show The Choice (1.8/5) followed at 9 PM. In the same timeslot over on ABC, the two-hour Duets (1.2/4) was once again down. The third episode of the singing series fell 20% from last week, bring Duets its lowest ratings since its May 24 debut. On NBC, the debut of the Canadian medical drama Saving Hope (0.7/2) at 9 PM pulled in over 3.1 million total viewers.

NBC played repeats of The Office (0.6/2) and Parks and Recreation (0.6/2) at 8 PM and 8:30 PM. The CW had a new episode of Breaking Pointe (0.2/1) followed by a Vampire Diaries (0.2/1) repeat. At 10 PM, ABC had Rookie Blue (1.3/4), which was down a tenth from last week. NBC had Rock Center With Brian Williams (0.7/2), getting 3.2 million total viewers.

CBS had all repeats Thursday night. The 8 PM The Big Bang Theory (2.1/8) was the biggest draw of the night with over 8.1 million total viewers. CBS was also the top network among adults 18-49 and, with an audience of 6.924 millions, in total viewers.
