Ratings: Rake Falls, Reign Ticks Up, SNL Special Does Much Better Than Sean and Michael J. Fox
Fox’s freshman drama Rake drew 5.3 million total viewers and a 1.3 demo rating this Thursday night, dropping 24 percent from its premiere as it demonstrated less than 50 percent retention out of American Idol.
Idol itself (with 11.2 mil and a 3.1) was down about 10 percent week-to-week.

Over on CBS, The Big Bang Theory (18.9 mil/5.1) was down 10 percent, The Millers (11.8 mil/2.8) slipped 12 and 15 percent, Crazy Ones (8.3 mil/1.9) fell 13 and 20 percent and Two and a Half Men (8.6 mil/1.9) dropped 10 and 20 percent. Elementary however held steady at 10.2 mil/2.0.

NBC’s Community (3 mil/1.1) and Parks and Recreation‘s big goodbye episode (3 mil/1.2) both matched their week-ago numbers. SNL‘s sports-themed special drew 4.7 mil and a 1.8, outperforming the most tallies from Sean Saves the World (2.6 mil/0.7), Michael J. Fox Show (2.2 mil/0.7) and Parenthood (4.3 mil/1.4).

The CW’s Vampire Diaries (2.4 mil/1.0) shed some eyeballs and two tenths in the demo, while Reign (1.7 mil/0.7) ticked up a tenth.
