Ratings: NCIS and The Originals Rise, S.H.I.E.L.D. Dips, Goldbergs Drops, Loser Returns Down
CBS’ NCIS rebounded this Tuesday, besting Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the coveted 18-49 demo (rising three tenths to a 3.1 rating, per finals) as well as in, of course, total viewers (ticking up to 18.8 million).
NCIS: Los Angeles’ 100th episode led out of that with 14.7 mil/2.6 (flat week-to-week), while Person of Interest (12.7 mil/2.2) added some viewers and two tenths in the demo.
ABC’s aforementioned S.H.I.E.L.D. this week did 7.9 mil and a 2.8, down just a tenth in the demo. The Goldbergs (5.1 mil/1.6) dropped 16 percent in the demo, and Trophy Wife (4.1 mil/1.3) slipped a tenth.
Over on NBC, The Biggest Loser returned to 7 mil and a 2.2, down 27 percent from its January opener (which aired on a Sunday) to hit an all-time premiere low (but more on par with the regulary scheduled Monday episode that followed that). The Voice followed with 12.7 mil/3.9 (up sharply from last week’s clip show), and Chicago Fire (8.3 mil/2.4) in turn rose 12 and 14 percent.
The CW’s The Originals drew its best numbers yet — 2.2 mil and a 1.1, up two tenths — while Supernatural (2.3 mil/1.0) shed a few viewers and two tenths.
Fox’s Dads (3.4 mil/1.4) inched up a tenth, Brooklyn Nine-Nine (3.4 mil/1.5) and The Mindy Project (2.8 mil/1.4) held steady and New Girl (3.5 mil/1.8) dropped 12 and 14 percent.
