Ratings: 'Hotel Hell,' 'Hell's Kitchen' Rise; Fox Wins Night

Gordon Ramsay's "Hotel Hell" and "Hell's Kitchen" both posted solid gains Monday night to give Fox an overall win, while NBC's reality offering "Stars Earn Stripes" experienced a steep ratings drop, according to preliminary numbers.

Fox came in first in the advertiser-cherished 18-49 demographic with a 2.6 rating/7 share and in total viewers with 6.5 million. "Hotel Hell" at 8 p.m. posted a 15 percent increase in the demo from last week for a 2.3/7 and grew 13 percent in total viewers with 5.9 million. "Hell's Kitchen" the following hour was also up 15 percent in the demo, posting a 3.0/8 -- the night's best ratings performance -- and received 7 million total viewers, making it the night's most-watched program.

CBS, which aired repeats throughout the night, took second place in ratings and total viewers with a 1.6/4 and 5.7 million.

NBC came in third in ratings and tied ABC for third in total viewers with a 1.2/3 and 4 million. Following an "America's Got Talent" repeat, "Stars Earn Stripes" at 9 dropped 25 percent from last week in the demo, posting a 0.9/2, and received 3 million total viewers. "Grimm" the following hour took a modest hit in the demo from last week, drawing a 1.6/4 and receiving 4.7 million total viewers.

ABC came in fourth in ratings with a 1.1/3. "Bachelor Pad" from 8 to 10 drew even with last week for a 1.3/4 and drew 4.4 million total viewers. A "Castle" repeat followed.
