Ratings: 'Extreme Weight Loss' Premiere, 'Body of Proof' Finale Down; NBC Wins Night

The season premiere of "Extreme Weight Loss" and series finale of "Body of Proof" declined on ABC Tuesday, while CBS's "Brooklyn DA" had a soft premiere and "The Voice," while sliding slightly to a Tuesday night low, still won the night for NBC, according to preliminary numbers.

NBC took first place in the advertiser-cherished 18-49 demographic with a 1.9 rating/6 share and second in total viewers with 6.6 million. Following a repeat of "The Voice" at 8 p.m., a new episode the following hour posted a 3.0/8 -- down 6 percent from last week, but still the night's top performance in the demo -- and had 10.4 million total viewers. It was the night's most-watched show. A repeat of "The Office" followed.

Fox was second in ratings and fourth in total viewers with a 1.8/5 and 5 million. "So You Think You Can Dance" filled the network's primetime slate, dipping 10 percent in the demo but inching up in total viewers.

Univision was third in ratings and fifth in total viewers with a 1.4/4 and 3.4 million.

ABC took fourth place in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.2/3 and 5.3 million. The season premiere of "Extreme Weight Loss" posted a 1.2/3, down 20 percent from last June's premiere, and was a series low for premieres. It drew 4.2 million total viewers. The series finale of "Body of Proof" at 10 had a 1.2/3, down 14 percent from its last original episode two weeks ago and a 37 percent slide from last season's finale -- and drew 7.4 million total viewers.

CBS was fifth in ratings but first in total viewers with a 1.1/3 and 7.3 million. The network aired repeats aside from the series premiere of the reality series "Brooklyn DA" at 10, which drew a 1.0/3. That was a 23 percent decline from last May's "Dogs in the City" debut, and the network's lowest-rated Tuesday debut on record. The "Brooklyn DA" premiere drew 5 million total viewers.
