CBS’ Blue Bloods returned on Friday night to its typical title — the night’s most watched program — by delivering an audience of 11.4 million total viewers, paired with a 1.7 demo rating.

That marks gains from both its previous premiere (11.2 mil/1.5) and its May finale (9.9 mil/1.1).

Opening CBS’ night, Undercover Boss did 8.1 mil and a 1.5, right on par with its previous premiere and up two tenths in the demo from what CSI: NY did in the lead-off spot a year ago.

Hawaii Five-0 said aloha to its new time slot with 9.4 mil/1.5, up in viewers but down in the demo from its previous (Monday) premiere (8 mil/1.8), and down from its May finale (9 mil/2.0, also on a Monday). That said, it topped its rivals in total audience and was up 21 and 36 percent from (groan-from-the-past alert!) Made in Jersey‘s year-ago debut in the time slot (7.8 mil/1.1).

Over on ABC, Last Man Standing (5.7 mil/1.2) dropped 15 and 20 percent against more competition, as did The Neighbors (down 11 and 17 percent to 4.1 mil/1.0). Shark Tank held steady with 6.8 mil/1.9, commanding Friday’s best demo.

Fox’s MasterChef Junior cooked up 4.2 mil and a 1.6 with its debut, surging 78 percent in the demo from what Kitchen Nightmares did a year ago.

For the completists out there, NBC’s encore of Michael J. Fox‘s double-episode premiere drew 4 mil and a 0.8, Dateline returned to 6.5 mil/1.3 (up in viewers from last year’s 4.8 mil/1.3), and Fox’s Sleepy Hollow rerun grabbed 2.8 mil/0.9.
