The Billboard Music Awards led ABC to a Sunday night win in the all-important demo.

The three-hour show averaged 7.4 million viewers and a 2.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down slightly from last year, but it was the show's second-largest audience since 2003.

CBS topped the night in viewership with the eighth Jesse Stone movie, Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt, which drew 12.8 million viewers and a 1.2 rating — the night's lowest demo.

The season finale of Celebrity Apprentice (6.8 million, 2.2) improved from last week, but dropped 18 and 23 percent, respectively, from last season's closer.
