Ratings: Big Bang Hits Season Low, Grey's Slips, Idol and Surviving Jack's Finale Tick Up

Seven Thursday shows were on the downside this week, as coverage of the NFL Draft on ESPN and The NFL Network spiked a good 50 percent year-to-year.

CBS’ The Big Bang Theory — which featured a big event — drew 14.2 million total viewers and a 3.7 rating, down 12 and 18 percent and hitting a season low in the demo. Leading out of that, The Millers (9.2 mil/2.0) and the Two and a Half Men finale (8.5 mil/2.1) lost a few eyeballs, while Bad Teacher (5.8 mil/1.3) and Elementary (7.5 mil/1.5) each dipped a tenth.

Over on ABC, Grey’s Anatomy (7.5 mil/2.3) was down 15 and 12 percent (tying its series low) and Black Box (4.4 mil/1.1) fell 21 and 15 percent.

Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen (4.1 mil/1.5) ticked down a tenth, but American Idol (7.1 mil/1.6) and the Surviving Jack series finale (4.1 mil/1.2) rose one and two tenths, respectively.

The CW’s Vampire Diaries (1.6 mil/0.7) slipped 13 percent and a tenth (tying its series low), but Reign (1.47 mil/0.5) held steady.

NBC’s Game Night did 3.3 mil and a 0.9, while the American Comedy Awards did 3.1 mil/1.0.
