So it’s perfectly understandable that Alex looks less assured than normal in this exclusive clip from Sunday’s episode of Quantico (ABC, 10/9c) — there’s a good chance a waterboarding (or worse) lies in her immediate future.

The episode finds present-day Alex at the mercy of an FBI team that prides itself on getting intel others can’t. And given that Agent Parrish turned herself into the Bureau at the end of the previous episode, the interrogators want to know everything Alex knows… even if she’s not so willing to spit it all out.
Elsewhere, during the hour’s Quantico-set timeline, Dr. Susan Langdon (guest star Anne Heche) is a former FBI agent and profiler who leads the trainees on an exercise involving serial killers. But when Simon does too well at the task, things get dangerous, fast.
