Pilot Scoop: Patrick Warburton Gets Jacked Up
CBS ordered a trio of comedy pilots late Thursday, including a sitcom starring Rules of Engagement‘s Patrick Warburton.
The Warburton project, titled Jacked Up and written by former Friends exec producer Greg Malins, finds the comedy vet playing a beloved, recently retired baseball player adjusting to retirement.

CBS has also extended a pilot order to an untitled single-camera comedy from Smash scribes Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky about a married mom struggling to balance family, life, and work.
Lastly, the network has OK’d an untitled multi-cam comedy from ex-Scrubs EP Tad Quill about a recently widowed father who raises his 12-year old son while jumping back into the dating pool.
