Pilot Scoop: Will Arnett to Headline Greg Garcia Comedy for CBS

Just how many nails does Up All Night‘s coffin require? Because here is another one.

Will Arnett has landed the lead in CBS’ yet-to-be-titled comedy pilot from Greg Garcia (Raising Hope, My Name Is Earl), TVLine has learned.

In the multi-cam project, Arnett will star as Jack, a recently divorced guy whose life gets more complicated when his parents go through marital problems of their own.

Technically, this CBS pilot is in “second position” for Arnett, since the fate of NBC’s Up All Night — which has spent the winter being retooled as a multi-camera workplace comedy, no longer co-stars Christina Applegate, no longer has series creator Emily Spivey as an EP and at last count might not resume production as planned– has yet to be double-secret-officially decided.
