It’s Official: Kris Jenner Talk Show From Twentieth TV To Get Summer Run On Fox Stations
Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is officially adding a daytime talk show host to her resume. After lengthy negotiations, Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television announced today that Kris, a new daily one-hour talk show starring Jenner, will get a test run on select Fox-owned stations in markets, including New York and Los Angeles. The program, produced by Twentieth Television, is a pop culture driven talk show filmed in Los Angeles. It will feature celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics. “This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!,” said Jenner who will serve as executive producer.

“Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted – all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host,” said Stephen Brown, EVP of Development & Programming, Twentieth TV. Added Frank Cicha, SVP of Programming, Fox Television Stations, “Wouldn’t be summer without at least one test, would it? In all seriousness, we go into this believing that if it works, the Kris Jenner program could really compliment what we’ve got going with Wendy, Bethenny, etc.” The six-week test run on the Fox stations has become increasingly popular as it has spawned two series to go to national syndication: Wendy Williams and Bethenny. The Kris announcement follows Twentieth TV’s renewal earlier today of freshman syndie strip Dish Nation. The company’s freshman talk show Ricki Lake is unlikely to continue next season. The highest-profile new syndicate talker on tap for next fall is Sony TV’s The Queen Latifah Show, which has been cleared in more than 90% of the country.
