Not so fast: USC denies Rob Kardashian's law school claims

When Rob Kardashian tweeted this week that he was headed to USC law school, we were shocked that one of the Kardashians was actually making something of himself... but looks like it was too good to be true.

On Monday, the "Keeping Up WIth the Kardashians" and "Dancing With the Stars" veteran took to Twitter to announce, "Going to Law School very soon and so excited and can’t wait! School just never ends for me! #UniversityofSouthernCal #Trojans #FightOn." But officials at the USC Gould School of Law have since confirmed that not only has Kardashian not been accepted to the school, he hasn't even applied.

To be fair, this may have just been a case of wishful tweeting. Kardashian did earn an undergraduate business degree from USC in 2009, and of course, his late father Robert Kardashian Sr. was a prominent attorney, most famously during the O.J. Simpson murder trial. But several news outlets picked up Rob's tweet as fact, leading to the denial by USC officials.

We would be impressed -- and grateful -- if Rob does eventually head to law school and leave reality TV behind... but we know E! would be right there with a Rob-centric spinoff. "Kardashian in Kourt," anyone?
