In 2012, Hastings' pay was $500,000 combined with stock options grants worth $1.5 million -- half of what he was awarded in 2011. His salary that year remained unchanged.
Chief content officer Ted Sarandos also received a pay bump. His 2013 salary will climb to $2.2 million, up from $1 million in 2012. His stock options allowance remains the same as 2012 at $1.8 million.
