Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit to Be Streamed for First Time
Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit Concert will get a wider audience this year: For the first time, it’s streaming live.
The 27th annual concert will stream on YouTube starting at 5 p.m. PT on Saturday. (Music lovers may want to bookmark that link, which also includes highlights from past Bridge School concerts.)

This year’s performers include Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, Jack Johnson,Fun., Heart and Jenny Lewis. (Waits, Johnson and Arcade Fire are only expected to perform Saturday. The others have signed on for a Sunday show.)
Young has organized the acoustic, non-profit charity shows since 1986. The are held at the Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., with proceeds benefitting the Bridge School, which helps children with severe physical and speech impairments.

Young’s son Ben, who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, attended the school.
