NBC Sets Summer Dates for Anne Heche Comedy, Rachel Griffith's Camp and Other Series

An Anne Heche comedy will at long last come off the shelf to launch NBC’s summer slate, the network announced on Monday.

Save Me, starring Heche (Men in Trees) as a Midwestern mom and wife who has a spiritual awakening after a near-death experience, will air Thursdays at 8/7c, starting May 23 — more than a year after being unveiled at NBC’s 2012 Upfront presentation.

American Ninja Warrior will launch its new season Monday, July 1 at 8 pm, with a two-hour opener.

Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls, which sends 10 teams of two on an extreme-survival competition, will air Mondays at 8, starting July 8.

Camp, a Meatballs-esque ensemble dramedy fronted by Rachel Griffiths (Brothers & Sisters), playing a divorced camp director, will air Wednesdays at 10, starting July 10.

As previously announced, America’s Got Talent will launch Season 8 on Tuesday, June 4 at 9 pm.
