MTV's SVP of Scripted Clay Spencer to Depart Network

MTV's programming department has experienced another shakeup. Clay Spencer, MTV's senior vice president of scripted programming, is departing the network, an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap.

No reason was given for the departure, though the news comes a day after the appointment of Lifetime and the WB veteran Susanne Daniels as MTV's president of programming, replacing outgoing programming president David Janollari. Janollari opted not to renew his contract after three years with MTV.
