The cast of Modern Family has returned to work, according to Deadline.

The entire cast showed up to a table read Thursday morning, two days after stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara skipped out on a previously scheduled table read over a salary dispute. That same day, the actors filed a lawsuit against 20th Century Fox claiming their contracts are illegal under California law.

The cast returned on Thursday as a sign of good faith, and negotiations between the actors and 20th Century Fox, which produces the show, are set to resume, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Though the cast was reportedly offered salaries ranging from $200,000 per episode in Season 4 to $325,000 per episode if the series stretches to nine seasons, the five cast members are seeking a great deal more, especially for the later seasons.

THR
reports that co-creators Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd sent the cast an email on Wednesday urging the cast to consider the "family" of the show and work through the issues.
