Liv Tyler Cast in HBO Pilot ‘The Leftovers’

Liv Tyler will be serving up ‘Leftovers,’ as the thesp has been tapped to co-star in the Damon Lindelof HBO pilot opposite Justin Theroux.

“The Leftovers” will be Tyler’s first foray in TV.

Project, based on a book by Tom Perrotta, centers on a group of people who don’t make the cut after the Rapture occurs. Tyler will play Meg, a woman about to get married when she becomes the target of a cult. Deadline Hollywood broke news of Tyler’s casting.

Perrotta and Lindelof are co-penning the pilot, with Peter Berg helming.

Tyler is repped by UTA and Untitled.
